Search & Rescue Military Training Exercise Witnessed / Photographed in SC family back yard

It was a normal day in Hammerstone Landing. The peaceful dawn of a new day was destroyed when the initial sounds of a tornado jolted the entire family from their slumber. Within seconds the house began to shake and it began to feel as if the home were under attack by air strike. After cautious peeks out the windows the family discovered that 2 military helicopters had landed in the empty field, which is connected to the family home's back yard; while quite a few other military personnel traveled around the open space on foot.

Mom, dad, brother and sister all filed out to find out more. The family spent from 30 to 45 minutes interacting with and snapping photos of the commotion. All the while the family was given a warm welcome. The family states that each and every one of the military personnel were cordial and hospitable. "They all introduced themselves Name, Rank and Serial Number, just like in the movies". Much like a military recruiter, brother was allowed to discover the inside of a military helicopter up close and personal, by one of the helicopter operators. All the while other military personnel were canvasing the premises, and the family soon discovered that a "Recruiting Table" was positioned in street behind the empty field.

From their home the family watched on through the day as the same two helicopters took turns coming and going, in 45 minute intervals, while various military clad individuals hustled and bustled across the field and back until around 6:00 PM EST.
